Street
Elevations. The color photographs of the street elevations for
each of the Downtown Denver blocks profiled on this site were taken by
Ken Schroeppel, this site's creator. These photos may not be copied
from this site for anything other than personal, educational, or
not-for-profit purposes.
The street elevation photos for all
of the Northeast Downtown blocks and for most of the blocks east of
Broadway in the Upper Downtown subarea were taken in February, March, or
April of 2004. The remaining street elevation photos for all other
parts of Downtown were taken in January or February of 2005. While
Denver is definitely not at its prettiest during these winter months,
the lack of leaves on the trees allowed for maximum viewing of the
buildings and other site characteristics of each block -- which is the
point of this site. Also, most of the photos were taken on
Saturday or Sunday mornings. This was a convenient time for the
photographer to walk the streets of Downtown, but it also resulted in a
lack of visible pedestrian activity that otherwise exists during the
weekdays and later in the day on the weekends. The photos for all
of the Center City Neighborhood sections were taken during the Spring
and Summer of 2005.
Plans &
Renderings. Most of the renderings and other images of a proposed
infill development were copied from the website of the project's
developer, architect, or contractor. In those cases, under the
"Rendering Credits" section, the source of the images with a hyperlink
to the website from which the images were obtained is provided. In
some instances when the rendering of a proposed building was not
available from any internet site, the developer or architect provided
them directly to DenverInfill.com after special request. Many
thanks to those who helped out in that manner. Finally, if the
original internet source of an image could not be located, then some
renderings were copied from other urban development websites similar to
this one, with credit and a link to those sites provided as well. None of the
images obtained from other websites are hotlinked directly from those
sites, but reside on DenverInfill.com's server space.

Any images in the "Other Photos" section of a block's page or images
found in any other part of DenverInfill.com are original to this site's
creator, unless otherwise credited.
