Block 162 Tent Under Construction

Evan Makovsky doesn't waste time. Within days after announcing plans to install a mega-tent on the vacant lot on Block 162, it is already under construction. Thanks to Scooter for sending in a quick shot of it from this weekend:

I don't get it. That could look really tacky. We'll see, Evan has pretty high standards so I'm interested to see what he's got up his sleeve.

it's a 5 star tent for the homeless what it sounds like to me. Tacky indeed.

I think it will wind up being like the city lights pavillion that they put up at pepsi center during the summer, just smaller. That place is fun to go to, the tent is just so there is not a giant vacant lot during the DNC...
