Building Permit Filed for Denver Four Seasons Tower

Good news for those of us eager to see the Four Seasons get under construction at 14th and Arapahoe in Downtown Denver: an expedited building permit application for the project was filed with the city on August 3! The permit is for shoring work only at this point, but still a great sign that construction could begin late summer/early fall as predicted.

Comments:
This is awesome! I can't wait to see this project get under way!

YAY! That is comforting to know.

Woo hoo I hope it sells out quickly so that they will think about the second tower too :D

What is a shoring work permit?

Shoring is tearing up the parking lot and starting foundation work

A second tower would be really great, but I highly doubt that would ever come into being.

Anon of 10:28, why do you say that? Supposedly Teatro reached their 50% pre-purchase requirement in 60 days. The tower crane for Pinnacle 2 is already up and there are two residential towers already under construction with hopes for Cityhouse in the CPV to start this year. A second Teatro Tower is not highly doubtable. It's a given within the next 3-5 years.

I don't know about a given, but they did make a space for it in the plans. You cansee its' footprint in the rendering. that's why there is that blank wall on that side.

how do you look up the current pending permits, do you have to know the log numbers?
