This block is essentially fully developed, with only a tiny surface parking lot at 14th and Tremont remaining; although next to that parking lot along Tremont is a nondescript one-story building that certainly could be razed to create a decent development site at the corner.  Block 197 is also home to Downtown's Holiday Inn hotel and one of the city's taller public parking garages, the 12-level Tremont Parking Center.
