This block
holds two buildings with some historic and architectural charm: the
U-shaped two-story apartment building in the center of the block on
California, which is in disrepair but could make for a fine renovation
project into condos; and the building at the corner of 22nd and Welton, a
nice example of a turn-of-the-century commercial corner block. Most
everything else, including the large surface parking, contributes little to
the urban environment and should be home to a future infill project. |
