This block,
like so many others in this area, is mostly surface parking lots. The
relatively new (1999) little bank building at the corner of Stout and
Broadway (all of a whopping 1,600 SF in size) seems like it would be more at
home sitting on a pad site in the parking lot of a big-box strip center
somewhere out in the suburbs, than a block down from the city's 590,000 SF
United States Courthouse and Federal Office Building. Frankly, there
is little on this block worth noting, other than the asphalt, overhead
wires, and billboard. |
