This block
has a good base to work with--sound historic buildings face both Larimer and
Lawrence. Many of these buildings have been recently renovated and
occupied by new, active businesses. But the block-long parking lot
facing 21st Street and the parking lot at the corner of 20th & Larimer keep
this block from crossing over the line into a cohesive, vital block that
spurs development to the next block over. A mixed-use project running
the length along 21st Street would likely become a great catalyst for
redevelopment in this lower part of Northeast Downtown. |
