The Larimer side of this block has seen significant investment in renovation to the historic buildings, along with new streetscaping put in by the city.  Along Market Street, the buildings look in good shape and are primarily still used for their original storage and industrial purposes.  The lack of sidewalk along Market is a hindrance in connecting the Premier Lofts on Block 053 to the east with the rest of Downtown for pedestrians.  Despite this block's solid urban appearance, the surface parking lot and obnoxious billboard at the corner of 21st and Market is a detriment to the entire block.  Another infill opportunity also exists at the opposite corner at 22nd and Larimer.
