The Blake
Street side of this block is fully developed with an interesting mix of
historic and contemporary architecture and office and retail uses. But
the Market Street side's block-long parking lot represents one half of the
biggest hole in LoDo: the 1800 block of Market. Fortunately, across the
street (see Block 049) is where Corum Real Estate Group is planning a 13-story, block-long, apartment tower. So if that project proves
successful, perhaps a similar mixed-use project will complete this block.
This part of Lower Downtown is a bit too office oriented, and could use more
housing. |
