This block
currently holds several state government buildings separated by a
hodge podge of surface parking lots. A new parking garage located
right at the corner of 14th and Lincoln is perhaps not the best type of
building for framing the State Capitol from Civic Center Park, but it's
better than a surface lot. The structure's design at least has
horizontal floor plates and makes an
attempt at some classical architectural elements, so it could be worse.
The project also includes a pocket park at the southern end of the
development. |
