Much like
Block 013-W to the east, this block contains a mix of office and commercial
structures of generally poor quality and low density, despite its location
at one of the city's most prominent intersections. The Civic Center
District Master Plan calls for a portion of this block to be developed into
a formal "Gateway Park" that anchors the western end of the Civic Center
Core Area and, along with future public buildings of monumental scale,
connects and extends the Civic Center District to Speer Boulevard and the
Cherry Creek Greenway. |
