This block
currently holds a post office and a handful of other businesses in low
density, non-historic structures; but mostly, it holds surface parking lots.
Like much of this Civic Center part of Downtown outside of the core area
adjacent to Civic Center Park, this block has seen little change for decades
and is significantly underdeveloped given its location within a few blocks
of the Colorado Convention Center, the seats of government for the City and
the State, and the Upper Downtown concentration of office high-rises.
Soon this block will hold the courts facility part of the Justice Center
project. |
