block features lower scale retail buildings facing the 16th Street Mall, and
a two-tower office complex known as Dominion Plaza. The North Tower
has 19 floors, the South Tower has 28. The complex opened in 1982.
The rest of the block is a surface parking lot... one of the few found along
17th Street, making its development a high priority. |
