This block
holds part of the Tabor Center, a two-block retail, office, & hotel complex.
On this block is the northern half of the retail mall which totals 130,000
SF on three-levels along the 16th Street Mall, and the 30-story, 557,000 SF
office tower known as Tabor I. The corner of 17th and Larimer is the
site of Tabor II. The foundation and elevator core for Tabor II were
started in 1984, but the office market bust halted further construction. Speculation was high
for Tabor II during the 1990s boom, but it never happened.
